Mike, I ran two 1200' lines. One in 17-19 and the other in 15-17. Crabs were biting on the shallower line. Crabs stop biting at 10:00 AM for us.

Big Jim you are welcome. The forecast for the tunnel on Thursday and Friday looks good.

    Buster Crab,
You done good. Congrats. I think we can catch some more after your post.

If you don't go, you won't know and you gotta have bait in the water!
I have terminal Crabiteis and there is no hope.

    Skip,
You ever try diving for them? I bet this time of year they're so slow you can just pick them up and throw them in the bag.

Water boy- I don't think it is legal to gather crabs by diving.
I remember some Oyster divers getting in trouble a few years ago for bringing crabs up.

Underwater, the crabs are total bad a$$es -claws flying and snapping-very tough to grab them. They are very fast underwater and can really turn quick.Every now/then I corner one and pick it up just to say "HI" but then I release them.Plus 60* water gets cold after about 1/2 hour. Skip
