Thanks Steve for the information on Sunday Joe said the crabs were excellant. Big Jim
Mike, I ran two 1200' lines. One in 17-19 and the other in 15-17. Crabs were biting on the shallower line. Crabs stop biting at 10:00 AM for us.
Big Jim you are welcome. The forecast for the tunnel on Thursday and Friday looks good.
Nice job. Up river or down?
Buster Crab,
You done good. Congrats. I think we can catch some more after your post.

If you don't go, you won't know and you gotta have bait in the water!

Burchbeer, Chicken Necker Ameritus (Not to be mistaken with Emeritus)
I think if you really tried, you could squeeze one more into that basket. Some nice looking crabs
-first week of Nov.
AWESOME. Skip
Skip,
You ever try diving for them? I bet this time of year they're so slow you can just pick them up and throw them in the bag.
WB
Those are some of the nicest looking crabs I've seen all year!! Good job.
Water boy- I don't think it is legal to gather crabs by diving.
I remember some Oyster divers getting in trouble a few years ago for bringing crabs up.
Underwater, the crabs are total bad a$$es-claws flying and snapping-very tough to grab them. They are very fast underwater and can really turn quick.Every now/then I corner one and pick it up just to say "HI"
but then I release them.Plus 60* water gets cold after about 1/2 hour. Skip
