Question Chunkin' for the Striped Ones

Just a question for the Lower Bay folks. Does anyone chunk bunker during the season? In the Delaware Bay thats really all we do. I am thinking about a December trip out of Cape Chuck but not sure how well chunkin will do. Any input would be appreciated!

I have tried it a few times over the past two years and it has worked well. Seems like it catches bigger fish as well. I just fished cut bunker on the bottom on a fish finder rig. I did it right off of Kiptopeake at night after they stoped hitting the eels in open water. Didnt catch allot but caught a few big ones. Nobody was out there doing it. I had them all to myself. Bunker were hard to come by so I have stocked up my freezer with some this year.

Stripers are stripers are stripers are stripers are stripers....

Find some fresh and fish the way you know. Look for the same kind of spots you do in DB. There are plenty of areas just like that near the tip of the eastern shore, and they hold the same fish. You will find that they enjoy noggins just the same as up north.
