Hi from another Severn River guy

Gentleman,

Just wanted to say hello. My name is Mark L. and I am a Severn River guy that loves to fish! I live in Round Bay and have a 19"CC that I got this fall. I posted for the first time today on the main board (here: http://www.tidalfish.com/forums/ches...greetings.html and was directed to the SRRKC by Megabyte. Just browsing here through a few threads I see at least 1 name I recognize. I played little league with Greg Millenburg.

I have probably passed most of you this fall on the Severn as I have been chasing the Rockfish. I look forward to talking to you all and hope to learn to do a better job at chasing the big fish!!

Welcome aboard Mark. Thought that was you. I am out on the river alot, particularly up by you. I see your boat moored off from your grandmother's house (now yours, correct?), but I have yet to run into you out on the water. I'm going to try and get out this morning to goof off. Keep an eye out.

Happy Thanksgiving Greg,

Glad to see you on here! I remember fishing right out in front here when we were kids with you and Schelfe! We will have to get together sometime and do some fishing! I am used to seeing you at the Blue Angels show every year, but didn't see you this year! Are you going to be on the water tomorrow? My father-in-law and I are heading out into the bay tomorrow to hopefully get into something! I have been trying all fall! I have caught a bunch of small fish all fall using Storm Shads and buck tails just casting but I haven't gotten any keepers yet! I am very happy to report that I have been catching some decent sized pike right off of our pier though! Caught one a couple of weekends ago in the morning that was 24 inches! I was glad I had a leader tied on for the bluefish!

Gotta go bast the Turkey but I will PM you my phone number. Maybe we can head out and do some fishing together sometime!

I doubt if I will be out tomorrow unless it is early, and also depending upon the weather (more importantly, the wind). I'll bmail you.

Whats up Mark.......glad to have another guy onboard...... I am in a 21' Parker usually fishing around the bridges in the river and anywhere else from Love Point on down to the Choptank so hollar if you see me.....

SRRKC meetings are the first Thursday of every month and are usually held at the West End Grill (used to be Griffins West) unless ElPresidente makes an executive decision and changes the venue. Watch this area for reminders and/or changes.
