Caught them pretty good on friday. They will hit the plastics but they got to be worked slow. I know you probably worked your baits slow but i give will give u a hint: work them slower.
Tried most of the morning and afternoon with no success. Casting soft plastics, trolling cranks, swim baits, etc. Nothing seemed to work for me on Saturday. Anybody hook up with any fish out there? If so, what the heck were you doin' to catch 'em. I couldn't buy a fish!![]()

We put in on the York River at the Coleman bridge and motored out to the mouth of the river and didn't see any birds. There were fish marking in depths between 28 to 36 feet but none would hit our baits, (black and silver stretch 25 and 20 oz. Moe Joe with a 2 oz. jig). We have gone to this same area the last 3 weekends and have come empty each time. Any ideas on what we are doing wrong?

I trolled behind the kayak for about an hour and landed 2 decent fish...like cantgetenough said, rigth when you think you got the speed down, slow it down more....
i am heading up river today, way upriver.....hunting for whiskers instead of specks.....lots of boats around the hot ditch yesterday afternoon
Tons of boats yesterday. Especially up and down the Deep Creek canal and inside the cove. Figured someone on here was out there.
Will try to slow it down even more. May have to go lighter on the weight to keep off the bottom.
What depth have the fish been hanging at?
