Talking Saltwater Sportsman Article - Jim Brincefield

Congrats on the great article all about deep drop trips for tilefish, grouper, etc. Just got my first 'free' Saltwater Sportsman as a gift from the boat show.

Capt. Jim - he don't know each other yet but I definately am drooling to do one of those deep drop trips in 08.

Hey guys, pick up a copy and read that article - talks all about their skills at finding these elusive fish in the edges of the Norfolk Canyon. Nice to see a great article talking about the Old Dominion.

I thought it was a pretty good article

Joe, I got an email from the guys from the Richmond club who you took bottom fishing. They had nothing but good things to say about fishing with you.

Spiny dogs, sorry they are back but I'm actually going to make a trip for them soon. A scientist at VIMS wants about 50 specimens. I told her that was one fish that I was sure that I could catch.

Capt. Joe, That's a very respectful resume.......Sounds as if you got them in your sight too.....

That is good to know. I'll need some good dogfish catchers when we head out there.

Very good article. Everytime I deep drop out there, I see more and more boats giving it a go. With the tuna being so scarce this season, it's a great backup plan to bring some meat home. And most of them bottom fish are excellent table fare.
