Once again the tournament was ruled by old mother nature- Is there any reason why the title was not given as "Father Nature"? He would have been much cooler I bet- Especially when it comes to a group of guys and some gals out to enjoy their days off from work fishing, spending their hard earned money trying to catch a fish in hopes to either put a huge smile on their face or even win a little tournament money. The conditions were horrible to say the least- 2-3 foot my backside(aka a$$) How about 5+ with the occasional oh $shit wave to boot? It was very apparent to me that alot of folks waited to register and watched the weather to determine if it was doable- It seems that this tournament gets smaller every year and the small boat owners are once again handicapped to try and make it out safe without jeopardizing the livelihood of their crew- I felt as if they should have postponed the tournament and Yes I know its hard to put together and event and be up against the weather , but it I think they made the wrong call- We did manage to catch some fish but could no way make it up North to where we planned on going- The bigger boats that made it up that way seemed to do pretty well- Both 1st and 2nd place- What a coincidence! Unless I can find a 97ft center console with heat and a turbo bilge system, I will not be out in any conditions like that again. It was great talking to many of you at the Captains meeting and congratulations to Randy Sparks on his 25ft Hydrasport for 3rd place- I know your run back up the Bay from the Concrete Ships was 3.5 hours of no fun enjoyment, but glad you and Tommy made it safe (even though Tommy claims he will be confined to a wheelchair for months)

I would also like to thank the fraternity brothers of Sigma Chi from William and Mary for their find job manning the beer truck and to Wayne (Sea Level) for showing me the hotspots of the RIVAH, The galley and Toby's!

Heard it was terrible out there yesterday. Alot of boats out today. Got limit of smaller size and one fat 30" that went back. Glad to get some pullage. Will be back out next weekend.

Scott- I can not disagree with your post. I think what you wrote is very real, and people reading this (CCA) need to really consider the future of their tournament. Side note for Tommy, Great day...and if he needs a wheelchair, my neighboor sells them and he's got some great ones. We go 4 wheeling in them when it snows!

Double Down...I would like to thank our brothers of Sigma Chi at William and Mary. It's great to know a college that's close by can produce such great beer pourers! Go William & Mary!! Scott, your the best! Thanks!! As far as Friday night, those 2 women with no teeth, the are the bomb! I'm sorry that they did not show up to fish! Hey, glad I could show you around the "Rivah". It's a wonderful place to be, but your river front place is outstanding. That was the best sofa I have ever slept on. You left the heat on, and you obviosualy know alot of people, because people come and go at your rivah house, it's so warm that you have so many friends.

I'm glad that you called me on the radio and was able to hook you up! Nice to see that you and your crew were able to catch some fish! Seabreeze and I had a heck of a time fishing. And do you know the best part is? Those guys drink Nati-Ligh too! Can you beleive that? Boat-Itch..sorry you guys went chumming. We had a great time up north. Glad to share the wealth of fish.

Also, I don't know if you remember, I bought your boat for $10.00. Cause I'm a nice guy, you can but it back for $20.00.

I think you still owe me $20.00 as I swear the one you bought a drink for was a man- It had hands like a lumberjack and I saw it go into the mens bathroom It was a pretty dress though!

Enjoyed having you on board and wish the conditions were better- We will get out again soon and feel free to stay at my RIVAH House anytime as the door is always open and the light is on
