    Default Sunday Report

Left Richmond at 5:30a in tow to Deltaville. Launched at Norview around 7 and ran in a slight chop at 18kts to 59a with lines in by the fleet around 7:45. With in 2 minutes we had three fish on. Two on the umbrellas and one on the chartruese Stretch 25. As there were only two of us onboard, we boated the 22" pair on the umbrellas and the stretch released himself before we got em in. Back in the water with those 22"s as we had hopes of bigger fish and it was early. Five minutes later we had a 24" and 26" in the boat. After several released fish in the 20" to 22" range we pulled out of the fleet and ran north to 62. Looking back on that pile of boats behind us I thought how could so many boats work the same spot and not collide. I mean there had to be more boats working there by the time we left than I think I had ever seen before. It would have been nice if there were at least 4 directions working but it seemed that everyone, Imean everyone was going a different direction.
Anyway, Lines in just above 62 on the eastern ledge of the channel. A few small marks and one 14"er in an hour so we decided to head down towards the cut channel. As seas were building and a report from Rockit-Man sounded like the bite was on just East of 60, we stopped and put the lines back in. Trolled around for about an hour and decided to call it as the chop started to slop us around too much. 14kt run back and a few prayers for the guys in the 15' Jon Boat and we were back on the trailer by 1:15. Nice Sunday morning on the water and were back at home, rig all cleaned up and on the couch in Richmond by 3:00p.

    Water Temp 48 degrees
    Air Temp 38
    Seas 2-3 building to 4
breezy in the morning pretty good gusts by afternoon
best bite was on the 4 Storm Shad umbrella, nop weight way way back with a Storm trailer 2' behind

Cya all next weekend at the beach!

Great detailed report. We were out yesterday as well from the RP up to 62 and the GW area. Not alot of bait in the area and got 4 fish late.

We stayed away from the 59a crowd. It looked nuts from north of them. Not worth catching twice as many fish to deal with that.

    Default good day also

We fell in west of the 59a crowd, picked up 2 fish just east of the buoy. Went east of 60
and got into a big flock of Ganets working, had a spider rig tore up steel leader
busted and tails missing on 3 storms! Another rig got picked on....picked it up and took off
south. Guess the blues hit us.
Headed back in when the weather turned.

We saw the John boat and a couple of 16-17 centers at 59a also.

    What parking lot?

We had a good day away from all the boats. Caught good fat fish under 28" with no sores and plenty of lice on them!

I was in 1 of those CC at 59a yesterday. 2 important notes I know what I can take and I know what my boat can take. From the talk on the radio We did better the most out there yesterday.

we were out too, caught our limit in 10 minutes after trolling for 2 hrs. I landed a 38", 24lb, and a 33" 20lb. fish. My buddies both landed 37" fish, both at 21-22lbs. Good day
