Default How soft is realestate (residential) in the keys?

Low priced homes up to low 200's are still selling well but for the rest it's been a buyers market for some time now and it looks the same right into spring. Was wondering if now is the time to look for that 2/2 and where should it begin.

    Thanks,

    Spearo.

Big Pine has less expensive smaller homes with smaller lots. The bottom isn't here yet.Another year or so.

PS Check the taxes, homeowners, flood, hurricane insurance etc.before you decide to buy. They can be a killer.

you might get a deal on a place but the taxes are going up in Monroe like an escalator, Insurance is ridiculous, I bought a small mobile in a nice little park for <$10K if I get blown off the rock I'll take the ins $$ and leave...ie : $35k flood is $900 =/- $100 per year do the math for $200K

Yes, but Big Pine is like the Keys equivalent of the Easten Shore of MD.
