    Default Short Break from Rockfishing...

I had another great trip this year to the Salmon River in New York - what a great steelhead fishery. The first day was killer with lot's of action. Between two of us we had 25 fish last Friday. The weather turned bad and the river iced up pretty good on Saturday making fishing extremely difficult. Glad to be back to Richmond and close to the rockfish action - looks like there's some nice fish being caught in the bay. I'm posting a couple pictures from last Friday - all fished released unharmed.
