Default A nice pair of 38s are always fun!!!

Headed out of Little Creek about 4:00 pm after the NE @ 15 died down Robert (playnhooky) and Eric (speedjunkie) onboard. We decided to make a quick trip to Fishermans Island to see if we could pick up a couple of Stripers. The fishing seemed slow today didn’t hear of much action at all and I think we were fortunate to come up with the pair of 38”s. Once the weather settled out we made the run and worked out pretty well it was flat calm after 5:00pm NE @ 2 the Wx channel said. Small fish but nonetheless a FUN day!!!

Water temp was 48 degrees, incoming tide, drifting an eel on a 5/0 octopus circle hook, no lead, anywhere from 1 nm East of the highrise to the “6” buoy east of the highrise.

I think it may be time to break out the trolling gear soon I will do a trolling podcast perhaps this weekend. I think you will find it interesting and helpful.

A big thanks to Eric and Robert for the quick scramble!!

    Nice healthy fish

A pair of 38's are always nice as long as they don't come with a's or b's.

You guys are for sure spoiled when you start calling 38" fish small. It was not that long ago that 40+ inch fish was not very common. Nice job out there.
