Nice catch guys.....Congrats!
Left Sunset Marina, Hampton about 630 am and headed towards Cape Henry with friends that I met here on the board. Good chop coming around the Cape, the rest of the ride wasn't bad. No boats, baitfish, birds or stripers to be found anywhere. Ran to Sandbridge to find a small fleet of boats and gannets diving. Boated 6 mostly 30ish. Did C&R with the rest. Stretch 30's and 25's worked great. Fish were scattered. Clouds of baitfish near the bottom here and there.
It was good fishing with you Matt & Walter. Don't tell anyone about the Secret Chicken Dance that we did to catch those fish.
Good Luck,
Mike

Mike,
Sounds like the right turn was the right way to go!!
Be careful what you admit to on this board. There are a few folks on here that will likely offer to video your "STRIPER CATCHING CHICKEN DANCE" and would be glad to post it here for all to see!!

Mike, Nice going and thanks for the report. I left you my email on your last post, it you need additional hands in the future. I'm in the Foxhill area.
Great day on the water. Wind cooperated better than I thought. It was great to fish with Mike an Matt. I look forward to hooking up with you again. It is great to be out on the water after you have already put your boat up for the winter. Not to mention being succesful at the same time.
I learned one important thing yesterday. Your spread does not have to be complicated or elaborate. Matt and I tried to prove on multiple occasions how easy it is to get 6 lines tangled together. After two fish (one tagged by NFWS), we were smart enough to go to four rods and all stretches. They were spread out but seemed much easier.
I am not sure how Mike knows what music the fish like? But it sure works. I think it goes something like two steps left and then two right, cha cha cha....fish on.
