    Default south 1/16

it didn't start out that way. put in @ owl's creek about 730 am & had the ramp to our selves. only about 3-4 trailers parked. hit the mouth of rudee & i found out why. seas were already n. about 4-6 ft. i thought to myself i shoulda listened to dennis (hookinfinger) & gone later but, surely n.w. couldn't be that bad? well went up to the v.b.f. pier and went cross waves out about a mile & started trolling s. w/ the waves. not bad. 1st fish below rudee on a green tiger tomic 200 ft behind w/ a 4 oz sinker. 32 " decided to throw back. 2nd fish about 2+ miles out in 42 ' water @ the golf ball keeper 36 lb. very hit or miss. lots & lots of bait. trolled out to 3 ml. then back to now constr. area .75 off 30 ' of water huge marks hooked up in less than a minute but pulled off. saw 10 boats s. in one area then blinked, they were surrounded by birds! 1-2 ml. below new c. the fish were top to bottom. 4 out of 6 rods take off w/ 2 fishing. pulled in the rest of our limit a 24 lb, 31 lb & 33 lber. 4th back in the water. one pass. all on tomics and 9 " trailers on the mojos. tired, decided no catch & r. today headed for the barn. did catch a fish on the grn imitator-

    yeah the bait was thick!

but it turned out to be a good day!

Does it work well?? I had a smaller version but it wouln't hold the 45lber's that we were catching w/ eels, kept slipping through because it wasn't wide enough.

I'll bet your glad to have some slime on those new striper pants. Sorry for bailing on you, I had to make those appointments. Now I can afford to fill my boat up again.
