I have a mini weber gas grill and it is awesome. Its got a heavy cast iron grilling surface and the temp is very even. Weber all the way!

    Default Weber

I bought a propane Genesis when the tops were red/orange with the black ends. Its at least 10 years old, used at least weekly. 3 years ago, I replaced everything inside--flavor bars, grids and racks($75.00)--- except the stainless burners. This year, I converted it to natural gas($30.00). There is nothing wrong with it today. If it ever needs replaced, it will be another Weber.
The best buy for your money and works great.

I grill every day, sometimes twice a day from May to November. Even with meticulous care, the expensive ones usually need overhaul after 3 years. The parts to do it right can cost from $50-$100 bucks. Just as well off just buying a "mid-range" model new every 2 or 3 years, or so. Watch the sales. When the $400ish models go on sale for $299, jump on it.
