    Default 32 Bridge

Fished 32 bridge from 9AM to about 3PM. Water pretty choppy but managed to pull close to the bridge. Caught plenty of dinks and 1 keeper. Some boats did better but didn't hear of many limits. Left em biting but wanted to get home to see the race. Should have stayed on the water. Caught most on strech 15's.

    Good luck & keep hookin'

Where is the closest ramp to the bridge ?

My Dad just moved to hertford NC. I am thinking of driving down to fish with him around the 15th.

    Thanks

Thanks for the post. What color stretch baits have been working best?

    Default Ramp for 32 bridge

    Jeff,

My brother-in-law uses the NC Wildlife ramp on Midway Drive. This is next to (in front of) Albemarle Boats.

Here's the NCWRC description at North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission :

"Chowan-Midway Drive: From the north end of the Albemarle Sound Bridge on NC 32 near Edenton, take NC 32 north 1.3 miles to SR 1114 (Soundside Road). Turn left onto SR 1114 and travel 2.8 miles to SR 1119 (Midway Drive). Turn left onto SR 1119 and travel 0.4 miles to the area. The area is located on the right at the end of SR 1119."

    Default schoolies bitin

Fished the 17 bridge (Eden House) last Sunday and 3 of us caught around 50 fish with 1 18"er. We used yozury and stretch 15's most any color caught. I phoned a friend that fished the 32 bridge and he & 3 friends limited out in about 3 hours. Thats my luck...wrong bridge - wrong time. Looks like fish are starting to move to the Chowan River.

    Jeff,

You'd be better praying for a solid gold popsicle than a non-windy week in NE NC this time of year. It seems like the only time the wind stops blowing in March is when it is raining, and sometimes it does both at the same time.

Decide if your boat is big enough and just go if you can...
