    What kinda mileage does it get and how far on a tank? That rig would be great for solo trips to Carolla Light....might be able to afford them again!!! Nice fish by the way, congrats. Martin

    I think its great. Those things are very comfortable in the summertime I know. Water being cold like it is if you take a spill which is unlikely it could be a little dangerous without some backup. That being said, I love the concept. Get a few guys together and youve got an adventure. Id do it in a heartbeat. I burn 25 gal on a short trip. Thats a great alternative. Too bad the idiots have already ruined much of the inshore fishing for you.

    It is a yamaha suv 1200 135hp 4 seater , it is the largest yamaha made 1998-2004.
    Max range is about 100 miles on 21 gals. Max speed is about 55mph, I typically
    cruise 35-40mph. I have not flipped this one it is very stable at 14 loa & 800lbs.
    I made 6 trips to CLT spadefishind/ spearing.
