Do you guys fish Valentine Creek? I think I've seen you during the summer/fall before. I have a 19' Sea Pro Walkaround that I put in at Arden
Alex, Kevin, and I got out on the Skeeter for the better part of the afternoon today. It took a little maneuvering to get out of the wind, but when we did, we were able to find some warmer water (up to 46) and get some bites. Unfortunately, the bites came more easily than landed fish. Saw a few other boats and kayaks out there, but I'm not sure if there were any SRRKCers in the bunch. Here's a pic of Kevin utilizing his pickerel-pattern camo to fool another fish.

I have fished Valentine before, but the only thing I ever caught there was, ironically, a 6-inch largemouth bass. Do you have much luck in Valentine or Plum? We fished everywhere both up and downriver from Valentine today, and I'd say we averaged 1 fish per 500 casts!
P.S. the Skeeter looks like a purple bowling ball.
500 casts? You guys are way too serious. Stop moving around so much...this isn't bass fishing.
What am I saying...keep on looking guys. Try to cover as much water as possible. Don't ever think about sticking it out in one spot, it's never productive.![]()
Yeah you guys smell too

Actually, E... after our results today I think WE'RE the ones with a slight odor![]()
That's a healthy, handsome fish there. Nice post
