    Default Loch Raven Opens Friday!!!!!!!

    The Reservior offically opens for the 2008 fishing season at 6am Friday April 4th... There WILL BE one hellava line waiting so hopefully the weather is OK. Most of the people in line will be there to get their permit sticker for their private boats to use on the electric only lake. Alot of wives getting up early to stand in line while their husbands are at work too.
    Has anyone here ever gotten one of these permits?? I was wondering if you need to bring your boat registration or any other paperwork for your boat??

    Yes You'll need your boat registration.

    If you get there real early...like 6am...there'll only be about a hundred people in line.They're usually sold out of permits by 8 am.Boat storage permits sell out first,about 6:30-7 am.Then launch permits.

    When I went to renew my permit, they were saying that there should be about 100 or less permits when they go on sale to the public. When I got mine the first time and had to wait in line, I think I was there around 5, and it was COLD!!! Good luck!

    I don’t think I will be out on Friday but thinking Saturday might be the first voyage for the 08 season!!!!
