    Default Matapeake boat ramp

    Do you need a county permit to use the Matapeake ramp? I know they have an automated "pay for the day" machine; but don't know if I need a permit as well. 5th

    I was told by Anglers that you did not need one... But I could be wrong or things may have changed... drop them a line, they will know.

    They have a box where you put 5 bucks honor system, we never had a permit. alot of boats use that ramp for the annapolis boat show. that was last year.
    Great ramp there.

    For anyone interested; the ramp at Matapeake was in great shape. Cost $5 to park for the day. They could use more parking for trailers but on weekdays and preseason it should be fine. 5th
