    Arrow Sunday Report

We had people all over my main spots so I did a run south to a spot that has been untouched by me for 5 years. Double anchored up in 35 feet of water on a 65 foot ledge. Caught Kitty's very regular but nothing over 30 lbs. This pic was one of many at the first spot.

But the man in the banana suit would have the lucky rod and nailed some real pigs both south and north..

This banana guy caught many more but how many pics of standard grade Kitty's can you take?

One little convict bass today choked on a two baits at once. Greedy little convict bass most likely paid the ultimate price for being a gluten.

I know where both those spots are. Need to crop pics more or blurr out the background to keep secret. All the years I fished in Bass Tx's there . I never would have guessed that Cat's that big were in there.

On a side note - Do you keep and eat those that big? or C&R? I love the smaller channel cats from the bay, (if you do keep them) do they taste as good?

    No keeping big kittys...

Some times a customer would take home some small ones but it is rare. As far as taste?
Well the white cats are the best tasting of the four cats we have. But they are quickly getting thin. The blue cats just eat eat eat so I would assume they are pushing the whites out.

I like my catfish grilled with a generous amount of Tony's

As far as blurring and hiding spots that aint my style. The river has a good 20 spots I can run to.. and be succesful.. Wind , waves , tides and other boats make you learn more than one spot. So I consider it a blessing to fish old spots.

Hey Capt Mike. Good job on a tough day, for me anyway. Kitties seem a little harder to find down river then earlier. The hole I fished below you rarely lets me down but it did. Not even a bite. Had another fellow down there and I never seen him catch one either. Mover back up where you 1st seen me at and did ok but nothing over 25lbs. We gave up around 5 and bet it would get better if we had stayed. Glad you got um some pullage.

Hawkeye you might try just little north of where I saw you setting anchor. The slope from the PRFC marker is great outgoing spot.

You got it Capt Mike. I know that spot. I fished that evening and many times b4. There wasnt any or many fish there on the tail end of the incomming. It is a outgoing tide spot for sure. I got severial spots in that area. Where you seen me at was a bunch of good marks tight on the bottom at that time. There had been fish holding down below 56 but I couldn't find them yesterday. They may of moved up to where I last seen you. Now the water has gotten warmer I think the fish are moving a lot more. Good luck Capt...
