SW Wind and no fish

With the wind blowing we gave it a try this morning. Left Lynnhaven about 8 and worked the area from the near shore small boat channel to the 1st Island of the CBBT for flounder. Tried cut croaker, squid, minnows and Gulps. SW wind and out going time created drift speeds up 2.2 kts. Ended up with 1 throw back flounder, one errant net release of a 20 inch flounder at the boat, couple of small croakers and small grey trout.

Nice day fishing, not much catching. Got home in time to watch the Mets play the Diamond backs and cut the grass. Short day with good friends on the water. Will try again. From what I heard on the radio there were not many boats out and no one was catching.
