    Default Drum Fishing

Looking for information and tips and where abouts on drum fishing(no hot spots please). I have been reading the reports on Red and Black drums and it has got the blood folwing, especialliy the ones that Dr. J. Ball posted. I have a 1802 Trophy cuddy and keep the boat at Norfolk Marina near the HRBT. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Darryl

Red and Black drum action has been hit and miss at buoy 13 and also on the ocean side of the high rise bridge. bait of choice is clams and peelers..
if you can, fish shallow first then if no bites work your way to deeper water. Use a fish finder rig and a 7/0 or 8/0 hook. if the clams keep coming off use a rubber band to keep them on. good luck
