Question Fishing Hatteras- 6/15 to 6/20 questions

I will be fishing out of hatteras and have read lot..and can see you guys really catch alot of dolphin.....but in 5 days we will catch way more then we can eat freeze, etc etc
And I know they live four years and thats it, so a big fish will not last a year

Are there any restaurants that will cook your catch?

Any Churches or other food pantries that will take them.

I would like to hire a mate for a day to take us bottom fishing on my boat.

I just returned from a week at Hatteras Village. We fished 3 days and felt fortunate that the wind laid down for those (24' Grady). The fishing was good, and we averaged 6 real nice gaffers each trip. We bottom fished the Rockpile for a short period, but the current was real fast and fishing was slow.
You may want to try a bottom fishing trip on the Miss Hatteras, that's usually a good time.
I think that Sonny's Restaurant will cook your catch.

Try the Shrimp Shack if you want your fish cooked, they did some wahoo for us last year and was good....There are always people around the docks that would love to take your fish, so I doubt you will have a real hard time getting rid of it...... Good luck on your trip,

Default tow a trailer with a chest freezer on it

plug it in to you cottage when you get there and fill that sucker up!! Dolphin freezes well, and taste mighty fine after a day on the deer stand in December!!
