Started off a few miles south of the Norfolk in 30 fathoms. Trolled north covering different depths. Couldn't get the water temp to work so I can't tell you what water temp we were in. Had two makos bite us off in the middle of the canyon around noon and picked up a bonito in 30 fathoms around 1:30. Saw a lot of life on the back side of the fingers turtles, bait, sharks, etc. dropped the ball and forgot to pick up squid the night before so no way to salvage the day deep dropping. Lesson learned. Hear people catching to the south of us but not enough to run another 25 miles. Still had a good day weather was perfect.

Congrats on the voyage out and safe return home! You can also use Bally hoo in a pinch.............
Fish yes, dive not so much I got spoiled in the Gulf of Mexico last year however; I will still clear a prop for a friend who needs it even if its in the middle of January. Glad you had a good day. Wish I decided to go south but oh well still had a good time just a little hungry.
