It never blew more than 8 to 10knts at Massey today. Good SW swell, but not bad at all. I'm wishing I had a crew ready for tomorrow. It looks like it should be fine in the am.

7:30 am, sitting on the balcony drinking a cup of coffee at the condo, looking over a calm ocean! G@*D@&*$ forecasts! Good luck to those who didn't pay attention to the weathermen. I know the fish are biting and they should have good conditions through early afternoon.

We ran Friday down to Lumpy. I was on the Muff Diver, departing OC it was not NEARLY as bad as I expected after re-reading the forcast at 2am. About 1 hour out it picked up, LARGE swells and about a 4 foot chop on top. It was a rough ride, at about 18kts the rest of the way down. All day we were in 3 to 5 and the wind had died down and the seas got BETTER not worse as forcast!!! I know several boats that did not go due to the forcast, bummer. But, it was sloppy out there. Several 25 foot range boats out there getting tossed around fairly good. Who was the small Hydro Sport out there Jigging??? Any luck?? Sloppy, but fishable.
We went 0 for 1 on a big BFT (line broke @#$%) and had a hook pull after about 20 min on what we think was probably a big blue. We did manage one small bull mahi. The bite was early.

You will not find a better deal -ANYWHERE-
