Right now running alittle low, very fishable. Nice hatch of smallies in the 7" to 9" range. Most big fish have perished. Pleanty of fallfish, some bluegills, occasional Largemouth and no red eyes. Good luck.
I see Rick's report on the Main Stem and South Fork Shanandoah, but has anyone fished the North Fork? It was in bad shape last I heard -which I hate because I really like to fish it.
I'd just go see myself but it's a bit of a haul from Southern Md.

Yes the fish kills have been tragic. I used to fish the South Fork frequently but changed to the upper Potomac a couple of years ago. I may try the South Fork later in the year for the fall bite to see if there has been any improvement.
