Talking I was casting in the Bass Pro Tank today

I had the coolest opportunity today...

Bass Pro wants me to do a tank demo, so I went there this evening to check out their tank. It's a fresh water tank, so the fresh water guys get to do it all the time. The staff and I threw all they had, but couldn't budge those fresh water stripers! Talk about spoiled! I hooked the 5 and 10-pound large mouth and small mouth bass about a hundred times, a few crappie, and a huge blue cat. We had a crowd watching...the kids loved it. I left there feeling like I had been on a fishing trip.

Can't wait for the demo, maybe I can entice those stripers!!

    It was lots of fun!

I bet that was cool. It is nice ot be able to see them bite. We were at the lightower last Thursday and the sapdes were biting, but hard to hook. I put on my scuba gear and dropped down to watch my buddies baits. I had as much fun watching the fish rob them blind as I did catching them. As soon as their baits got into the zone, about 5 spades would swarm and pick the bait clean in about 15 seconds.

Good luck, let us know when the demo is, that would be neat to see.

    Hi Julie,

Thanks for the info. I've a colleague from NZ (fellow IGFA rep) who wants me to test out a new saltwater and freshwater fish attractant for the rec fishing market. We have tank trails planned but im wondering if BP would be receptive to trying it out in their tank, what you think?
