    Default deep drop rigs

    how do u make yours. any info would be appreciated

    For 50 fathom fish like blueline tile or seabass, I use a double bottom rigs with 80 lb mono, 6.0 to 8.0 hook tied to a dropper loop:



    Then a surgeons loop on the ends, bigger one for the sinker:



    This is a simple rig that can be tied fast and uses minimal hardware (great for when rigs get lost).

    For the bigger, deeper fish like grouper or goldens, upsize the leader material, hooks, and bait. Probably have to break out the crimps. Can add glow beads or tubing.

    Just like Mike said Jengel.......play with it a little....you can add small glow beads...hint hint....or squid with glow in the dark eyes.....hint hint....
