7/12/08 CBBT Flounder

We fished for Spanish macs at CH trolled for an hour nada on the macs.. couple of blues... packed it in headed for the 1st Island for flatties. First drift landed a 19 1/2 inch keeper second drift a 15inch throwback and a few more after that. after awhile the guys on board were getting bored cause they weren't catching anything. I told them maybe if they stop Hook setting like Bill freakin dance they would catch one. We tried the second for spades no love there. went inside lynnhaven caught 70 or so nice size croakers and 6 nice spots..... one of them was 3 ounces shy of citation.. all in all a great day on the water some guy had trouble with his trailer so we had lots of boats backed up. (Hope you get your trailer fixed).. Saw Beth (Classic Rockfish) and a few others nice to meet yall... Best part of all i only burned 2 gallons of gas in my 15 footer!! Brandon
