    Default bathroom floor leveling

    Hey all,
I am re-doing my Bathroom and my floor is not level. I have an older home and I guess thru setteling over the years the floor has become noticabley unlevel..

WHat should I use to level this out so i can put tile or some other form of flooring down?

I used a self-leveling concrete type mix... Level Quik ?(something like that) ... about $30 per bag but it worked well over a concrete sub floor for me. I was tiling over the top so it didn't need to be absolutely perfect since the thinset could take care of minor issues. I know it can be used over wood sub-floors but didn't read the prep part for that since it didn't apply. Dries quick enough to tile the next day also..... good luck

YUP, that's the way to do it. Just so long as your sub flooring is in good condition. Thin-set is also another option, but it's basically the same thing. Most any big box store will carry what you need. Here is a link to help.Using thinset to level floor - DoItYourself.com Community Forums
