in md for recreational, nop females of any sort
I have heard a rumor that it is illegal to keep non-virgin female (i.e. sooks) crabs. Any truth to this?
Thanks,
BillPa

No female hard crabs at all may be kept in MD waters by a rec crabber
No Female hard crabs, or peelers may be kept in Md. by recreational crabbers
you may keep female soft crabs
However..you can release them..then the com. crabber next to you can harvest them...and sell them to you.....All in the name of conversation![]()
