trotline and 10 traps in the water at 5:34am out of broomes. good action early part of the morning then died around 8am packed it up at 10:30am and headed home with a full bushel of mixed males. very hot out there! hot crabs and a few homebrews....a very nice way to end the day!

Gotta ya on the heat thing. But the best bite the last few weeks has been after the
1st tide change mid morning. In fact, we've been joking that we should sleep in and start after the tide change.

Hey flames- was that you I saw at the ramp yesterday? I was on the 24 ft carolina skiff with my buddy, his gf and my son- I just put 2 and 2 together and figured out the "flames" moniker. If that's you and i'm sure it is- cool boat!
Herb (stingray) is right- one of our best runs was picking up the line at 10:15- next time i'm definitely planning on staying later.
Ida Mae- I think maybe we saw you as well- did ya see a 24 ft. skiff a little on the outside and downriver from ya? If that was you- we were the ones that asked about your lay early on?
