Not only is it good looking it works better than a firecracker. I have also put a tube jig(like you would use for crappie) as a teaser and had very good results, sometimes i think fish hold onto something that is soft and natural feeling

Jigged using bomber rigs 8/31/08 on tolleys. Caught snapper blues,short rock, and even a few croaker. Had tons of breaking fish and birds and no one else nearby exept sailboats
