    Default Taylors island report

The wife, hairy kids & myself went camping on Taylors island wednesday & thursday.
It was waaaay too hot wednesday after setting up camp & slipping the boat to do anything except look for a air conditioned motel room, thursday we went out looking for a spot out of the wind & finally found one in Slaughter creek we caught a load of juvenile crabs & females managed to get 30 keepers for the table. the flies & mosquitoes took turns eating us alive so we cut the trip short & came home.

Those were not mosquitoes. They were our county birds. That's why the electric lines are space further apart down here, to keep them from shorting them out with their wings.
