Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Lucian and all that put this great tournament together to support St. Jude. St. Jude Research Hospital is the best example I know of pure effort of doing good. They are a class act and I was honored to support their efforts.

I had the opportunity to fish aboard Fishing Fool. The crew was Capt. Mike Bean, Ned Smith, little John Cevora, Ed Rountree, and Jeff Rhoads. We headed out at dark thirty into a little chop, but Capt. Mike and Fishing Fool handled it with no problems. I've never been placed in such perfect position to fish structure. The boat handling was unbelievable.

We scratched out two flounder including one that weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces, but needed one more to be competitive. We hauled lines in at 5:15 to come in thinking that the big fish had a chance in the Calcutta. It turned out to be the longest flounder caught at 27 3/4 inches, but was almost a pound lighter than the winner.

Thanks to Lucian for letting us crew on Fishing Fool. We'll get em next year.

    Jeff:
You guys definitely fished HARD!!! I talked to Mike off and on all day and you covered a lot of ground. He said you guys burned 74 gallons of gas. I think you just hit a new record for fishing the bay and burning fuel in my boat. That is a LOT OF FUEL!!!

If you had caught one more decent fish I believe you would have been in the money but that's FISHING.

Another Great Day for an even GREATER CAUSE!!!

I know all the boats did their best to bring in the Big Fish and a couple just fished to support the cause, I take my hat off to all of you. Thanks Again for making the Fishin for A Cure a SUCCESS!!
