1 - lower all the way or whichever angle puts the lower hole at the lowest point (u want it all to drain), remove bottom screw first then top. make sure u know which one is which as they are different. the bottom one should be magnetic, wipe any metal shavings off. fill from the bottom until it comes out the top - this will be messy - make sure the top hole is at the highest point (usually lowered all the way down) as u want it full as possible. put lower screw back in fast as possible.

2- get a manual and it will tell u the correct filter and oil/spark plugs etc. - should not be hard

hint: when filling & oil has come out of the top screw, you are full, replace the top filler plug first this will slow the oil spillage when you remove the filler pump from the bottom plug hole then replace the bottom plug

a manual should be the #1 thing on your list

rj - that is a good idea. i dont use a pump, i just use the hand squeeze tubes and it seems like i can never get a good seal so it leaks out anyhow. may need to get the pump
