The Boh was dead on Saturday. Couple of boats but no real activity. We caught 18 large heavy crabs for our time spent at the mouth. Every year I say I'll never go there again but I do and with similar results. I'm going to try hard not to eat my words again.

    Good Luck

hey john i said that a couple wks ago ,but there i was again . i guess cause i done so well there last yr.Elk seems no better. last time out on elk a couple wks back i even saw a boat with a pat. dipper running a line.i did not think there was that many crabs a good dipper could'nt keep up!i just spoke to a guy today that was on chester river this sat. and got 1/2 bush. for his 4 hr effort. sounds like all the crabs are over on the west side of bay pax and such.

B.dog, sorry I couldn't get back to you as quickly as I liked. The boy has football so after work it's a mad dash to get him there, then tucked in bed let alone a some me time. Anhoo you wouldn't belive the amount of sport crabers on the Wye. That was my first time there since I was a young gun with my late uncle. The place had so many people that the walk back to the boat ramp took me 15 min. Still even with all the other boats I like the area well. I think the next couple of times out we will be going back. Then hopefully the Bohemia later in the month.

yes sir i always thought if sombody were to start running boaters back and forth from ramp in a golf cart they could make some dollars .i really like the wye river it's such a wonderful river. i just don't like the amount of boats out there , can be hard to get a spot to crab.
