LCD Yamaha gauges

My LCD gauges are not working properly there are places where the LCD iimage is not there and other places where it is very dim. Before I pull them out any ideas?

Mine did the same thing. Does it look like the "liquid crystal" material has "pooled" at the bottom of the gauge? I wish yamaha would replace them, seems like a defect to me. 5th (Marty)

yes, it does and they are not cheap $400 plus each. I am going to search for used gauges and make do until then.
