The Outer Banks Fishing School is offering several on the water programs this Fall:
SPECKLED TROUT IN THE SURF" on 9/20, 1/2 day. This program is taught by Al Minter who fishes the beaches of the OBX 350 days a year and has more citations than he can count. Reading the sloughs, jigs, mirrolures, live bait, matching bait color for water color and clarity, proper retrieves, gear, tides/wind/temps. Kitty Hawk, NC.(95,$75 by 9/10).

COMBAT DRUM FISHING & 4x4 WEEKEND- 10/4 & 5 -Capt. Jimmy Hillsman (well know Drum angler and Pro angler) and Mike Langston (national long distance casting champ) teach methods of long distance casting a "Hatteras Heaver" and overall Drum fishing techniques for the surf. Then we caravan off road on the north beaches Saturday evening and Sunday morning.This will teach everything you need to know to catch a monster Drum in the surf. $195, reserve/pay by by 9/12 and only pay $175 get discounted room at Hampton Inn,Corolla ( first come first serve). We are now offering guided Kayak fishing trips. We have fully qualified guides and fully rigged 2009 Ocean Kayak Trident 13 ANGLER EDITIONs. Anchor trollies, Scotty rod, crates, holders high density/high back seats for comfort and more. We provide rods/reels/bait...just bring yourself for backwater fishing. Your gear is ok too. Ocean trips for Rockfish planned for December.
