Brandon what is this auto renew ?

I just got a receipt for tital fish i did not know it was set up to automatic renew every year so what ever you need to do fixed it so it does not happen again please.
i would rather like a notice its going to expire and i have the choice at that time not its just taken from the account

it charged your credit card automatic ? it may be a option that you checked and didnt realize in your "my account" section (above left ) - i do get a notice and it has to be re-newed by me, but then again i pay with paypal not a card

i guess there is a * after the price it automaticly renew every year if you want it to or not there is not an option it does it by its self
thats one way make sure everyone renews every year

note i do not have a problem renewing but i would rather have a notice than money taken out of paypal.

I call my bank and get a new credit card with a new credit card number EVERY single year because of stuff like this.

It isn't Brandon that has to do anything, well other than sit back and rake in the cash. It is you and your Paypal account. The Tidalfish subscription was set up as an anual subscription which automatically renews it's self every year. You have to turn that off on your pay pal account. I was got with it once last year, but I won't be got again. I won't say it was a totally underhanded technique, but it was less than straightforward setting up the charge that way.

Yup, that auto renew was a reason I almost didn't renew my subscription. Interesting that I PM'd Brandon about it and never got an answer back. Decided to renew anyway.

Thanks for the tip about turning that off inPaypal. I'll have to figure out how to do that ... new to paypal too. Don't particularly like it either but you can't seem to do much without an account these days.

brandon sorry i jumped to conclusions i just cancled my paypal acount the next time its up for renewal i will prefer to pay over the phone or write a check

still use the site, just did not like the auto renew from paypal that was teh surprise
