I was wondering if anyone had any good recipies for cooking Blues while camping. I was going to take some with me next weekend but I wanted a good way to cook them over the fire?

    Don't like them Bluefish!!
    Me Niether !!
unless I use the following recipe

    ingredients:
Bluefish filets-as many as you want
canned crushed tomatoes-enough to cover your filets
    minced onion--dried
    Montreal steak seasoning

place filets on aluminum foil-on grill

    cover with crushed tomatoes

    add some dried minced onion

shake on Montreal steak seasoning-use liberaly

    grill till done!!

this recipe works with many types of fish-but it really works on well on bluefish

I know most people dont like to fry them but what I will do is filet them which takes most of the oil line out and then I mix some flour and oldbay, cover each filet and pan fry in about an inch to 2 inches of vegetable oil. I think it tastes great. Just be sure your oil is hot before placing the fish in the pan or they might fall apart.
