    Arrow OI Oct 14th

    Crew: Bill,Mike,Bert,Beck,Pat & me.

Fished from the 685 down to 630. The water was green & 72 degrees pretty much everywhere. The smaller class tuna marks are still there but we had to work for them today. Up @ the 680 to the 700 their is a ton of Bait, slicks birds & Bonita but we didn't manage any marks or fish around them so we decided to work south. The best of it for the fleet was between the 615-635 from 100 to 140 fathoms. We managed to scrap out 8 Yellowfin hookups but 1 was too small plus pulled off & the last fish of the day also pulled off. First thing in the morning on the 685 in 110 fathoms we had a double Wahoo but both snipped us off clean.

We took 6 Tuna home for the table but none were very big with the largest at maybe 25lbs or so.

Anyways we had a great time with a great crew & the weather couldn't have been better. The marks are still there so once the water comes back over the bottom all will be well out of OI.

BTW, the center span has now been dredged & all is back to normal for us small boats but I still held it to the southern after I passed under the bridge just to be safe.

For those going tommoro. All I can say is to start around the 630 or so & hope the water starts to push back in.

Good running with you (Leon) today. Ill see ya this weekend if the weather doesn't get us.

Even though the bite was off a bit we had a blast thanks to a well rounded crew. Thanks everyone. See you guys again soon. Beck might add some fun pics tommoro.
I just got back last night and I'm already planning the next adventure.

Only the truly ate up understand the maddness.

    Bill.

    Default What a great crew!

I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves!!!! Well, maybe not... Just pay close attention to the gaff shots... Especially the "Midwest" gaff shot! However, after looking more closely at the pics I have found that I have an exceptional shot of a missed gaff... Looks to me like it slid right off the tail of the tuna... Hey Batter Batter Batter SWING

I have to say before ragging on the crew any further, it was a great day w/ great crew!!! It's always good to meet new people! Especially when you've talked and exchanged products and heard so much good from many others about them... Pino and Mike, you guys are welcome to return anytime you'd like... Or should I say anytime you can put up w/ Herm

And now on to the GAFF SHOTS

Can anyone tell me why the fish went back in the dink?

    And the swing that stuck!

And now to the "MIDWEST" shots...

Hey, looks like Midwest Transplant isn't the only one who makes Midwest shots...

It sure is great having the camera in my hands huh???

Now on to the video... Hope I can figure out how to post this... I've never posted video clips before...

Last weekend while fishing was slow, Joey made the remark that he had a couple hundred bucks in his pockets and wanted to know if he should sacrifice it to the fishing gods to get us a bite by throwing it over board... Well, I thought that was sacrificial until seeing the Pino Fish Dance... Howard, you have some stiff competition now

Here's a still pic in case the link doesn't work... It's priceless...

DISCLAIMER... I am only picking fun at you guys... I hope this is taken as such... I really had a great time and hope you guys return for another trip!!! Pino, one day I need to come to your place and hang out w/ the wife and her horses!!!

way to scratch them out Bill. Planer bites?

Those gaff shots are almost as bad as being caught sleeping with a stuffed monkey around your neck...

Great work Bill and crew! Was that a dance, or was he fanning so as to not offend the rest of the crew?

Default We did have a blast

Thank you all for opportunity to fish. I had a great time with everyone, including the "Herm" on the boat. That Green stick is pretty cool too.

I'll be back again soon!! I'll bring some of my personal Pino vids and shoots for a few more laughs.
