Cigar 10/15/08
2nd trip in my newly purchased boat. Also my 2nd trip ever fishing the east coast. Been reading this forum and collectively taking advice. The threads have put me on fish with the proper tackle both times. Thanks to everyone who contributes. Went to the cigar and was treated to a nice King Mackerel. Went on trolling and caught a fat False Albacore (kept him for future bait). Found a decent weed line and it was a free for all on the Do Do's. Would not take dead bait at all. Threw a Diamond Jig and caught one. Threw a top water plug and it was on! Every cast they would come out of the water trying to eat it. What a blast!
