Rudee Inlet Deep Sea Fishing

I'm gonna be going out next weekend out of Rudee Inlet on an offshore fishing excursion, any advice on personal bait to bring along, technique, etc? Any help would be appreciated.

Is this a private or a charter trip? If it's a charter, I would ask the Captian what to bring. Otherwise ask the boat owner. He may have some simple rules about what he wants onboard his boat.
