Yes they are being caught, lots of small ones though.
Good sign of fish up the sound towards Camden point last week while I was taking a boat to Edenton.

    Good luck

Fished mann's harbor yesterday,Sat. after Thanksgiving .Close to 20-25 boats in the water. I saw live eel's, every kind of green lure, Black and gold lures even lures that I'd never seen before. The wind was blowing northeast about 15 knots, tide was running south with the wind. I saw a trailer stuck at the bottom of a ramp at the old marina. Two of the boats were carrying charters. I watched lots of people trolling, And several people drifting and a few people casting around the pilings. There were a couple of peopel floating and flopping there eel's around the pilings and in the channels. But the one thing I didn't see was a FISH !!! I live in Kitty hawk and we hear when there are some fish being caught ,well I heard but apparently the fish didn't get the word. GOOD LUCK I'm almost certain they will be biting tomorow, they always do.

I think the water is to cold?
    Any ideas on this?
The temp in the Pasquotank ranges from 47 - 42 degrees.
