WTG sweet pics....that cat is SWEET!
Fished the HRBT Friday from 1900hrs to 2200hrs I managed to catch three
rockfish 17"-22", trolling a tomic / bucktail on a three way. I kept the 22".
Overall it was pretty slow, I think you either caught a couple or you caught
nothing. There were a lot of boats and it was a nice low 60's night.
Dropped at HRBT Saturday 1000hrs and ran along Oceanview to the CBBT,
did not see anything worth stopping for and went and fished around the third
island. Managed 1 24" rock casting storms at the rocks. Tried Togging and
caught 1 19" on Live hard crab. I was a slow day for me but I have dinner
for Sunday. I saw and met a couple TFers last night and today. One of them
was Phil?, on this rigged out big cat, they were steady catching nice Rock
on live bait.![]()

I saw you out at the HRBT Friday night. That is a nice setup you have on your ski. I was out on a kayak and managed to do real well tight to the pilings on gulps. They seemed to be hitting real well with the tide ripping on the outgoing. Once the tide slowed down so did the bite. All mine were in the 18" -21" range. Quite a few of them had sores on them though.
Good job on Sunday dinner.
Thanks for the report and pics!
James
