Had to say Good Bye Today, Until......

With the forecast of the impending cold spell this coming week, I headed to the Miles and finished tucking in the boat.

What a wicked sky early this a.m. on the way to the ES. But the front blew through and it got really warm although windy. Oil changed, engine fogged, carbs drained, battery pulled, cockpit covered, stuff put in the shed, yatta.

Lubed the lift motors, cleaned the folks furnace filters and drained the water lines.
Then I saw the leaves in the gutters. Did that too.

Went back out on the pier and looked out over the creek and into the Miles. I almost shed a tear. But then Burchbeer (vs me) said, you wimp. It will all be here in 5 months.
He is right. But if I lived there, oh, what another matter that would be.

Check your gutters and be mindful of the forescast for a blast of cold soon.
Lows in the 20's midweek at night.

I need a beer. Later!

Gary, No, I never picked up hunting. To kill an innocent animal that God placed on this earth to me is a horable thing. Id rather kill the whole herd with a machine gun. Then Id take what I wanted and contribute the rest to the less fortunate.
I'd take as many tenderloins as I wanted of course.

Dave, You had me worried there for a minute tree hugger? I am a whack em and stack em guy. All my Son and I eat is deer meat.......every which way!
