    Default Help lower unit Gone! YMHA 150....need replacement

    Hey Guys,

    I slayed the striper this weekend twice on my boat and once on the Matador with Jake. Didn't post any reports but got most of the fish eeling at the HR. All fish were high quality with a few papers. The bad news is that I lost my port motor lower unit Friday.

    I am looking for a replacement and I need to know how to go about getting the best deal.

    My "guy" says 1800 brand new with company discount.

    I am looking for a used alternative if anyone can find one.

    What's the year ?? Any of these help ?? Looks like Hardcore has good prices

    You might try the forums at iboats.com as they have one dedicated to Yamaha engines. Very active thread so you might get some good input on where to get something or perhaps even find one used.

    Ill second Hardcore Marine in Miami. I think it was $1200-$200 core charge for my LU.
