Yes , plenty around the Lesner at night , also some in the daytime.
Hey yall was wondering what would be a good place to catch strippers with a real small boat? Did nt know if you could catch them around Lesner or not. Could really use the advice and tight lines to all.

if there are south/west winds, it is usually very calm at the HRBT...
Lesner Bridge...at night...on an outgoing tide just as it starts to flood out, get there at slack tide and set up close enough on the outside to cast towards the pilings to cast up into the shadows and allow your fairly heavy jigs and storms to sink and drift back into the light cast from the street lights above...HANG ON...I'm just about Ivory Soap sure ( 99 and 44 100ths sure) you'll catch fish this time of year...
DO NOT....ABSOLUTELY DO NOT tie up on the inside of the bridge...John Q Marine Patrol will allow you to make a contribution to the city's coffers (ticketed for anchoring/fishing in the turning basin...)
Clancys?
Thanks for all the info guys and the laws. Fished ALOT in the river but just never tried for stripper always went out on the CBBT or Coastal but now fishing the economy model rig.
If you go, post a report and let us know how you did.

Ive got a 17' Skiff and fish lesner alot. They were popping pretty good the other night. Sometimes Ill go back in Long Creek they'll be popping there as well. If its slick calm Ill go out to the Small boat channel but most the time I stay around lesner.
