Specks 12/21

Had to make it out today, so I took out the kayak to the hot ditch. Suprisingly there were hardly anyone out there, but from what I could tell, noone was catching either. Tried the pond for a little with no luck. Eventually paddled my way over to the discharge and wound up with about 6 specks, lost at least that many more. Nothing to brag about, but better than anyone else there could say.

Almost all were caught on green curly tails sloooow trolled.

Where do you launch over there? I'd love to splash mine there sometime.

Theres a park and pay located right under the bridge called Chesapeake Yachts with a little ramp. I took the lesser traveled route and used a muddy trail, gets a little hairy at times, but saved me 10 bucks.
