Slow day eeling 12/23

Started off kiptopeke around 11, few marks, no bites. Moved outside the highrise for the rest of the afternoon, mostly around buoys 8-10. Quite a few marks, no bites at all. Called it quits around 4. Water temp was around 45.

Kitopeke to out off the high rise and Nautilus Shoal, the we got Lucky, 49 inch and 48.6 pounds... Made our day... Our only hit, same observations as you, but one decided to give us a try.

we had similar luck also. we eeled the hirise area 3 til about 8. didn't hook up on any of the big boys. ran to the first to scratch out a few little ones on jigs.
